Microproject | "Ritterfest" in Langenchursdorf

As part of the Märchenland nursery’s microproject, a knights’ festival for children will take place on 22 August.

As part of the microproject, the children at the Märchenland nursery are creating a large living tableau entitled “Unser Dorf”, which is to be displayed at the central crossroads and bus stop in the village, known as ‘Wolfsschlucht’.

As part of the project, a knights’ festival will be held at the nursery, featuring jousting games, a ‘Wheel of Fortune’, a face-painting corner, a performance of the fairy tale ‘The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats’, a straw bouncy castle, a craft stall and, from 6 pm, live music with Annemarie.

The micro-projects are intended to provide impetus for new cultural formats or encounters in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region. The broad urban and regional society is called upon to create forms of communication and social interaction. The funding programme has existed for several years and is part of the main programme of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025.
